Ann Marie Marinelli's Obituary
Ann M. Marinelli, age 103, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in Byron Center, MI. She was born to Settimo and Josephine (Schillaci) Tardani on December 28, 1921, in Muskegon, MI. Ann met the love of her life Elio “Leo” Marinelli in Saipan, later married him on April 27, 1946, in Muskegon, MI. at Our Lady of Grace and spent sixty-three wonderful years together. Ann was actively involved at Our Lady of Grace as a Loaves and Fishes Pantry Volunteer. She also was actively involved as a volunteer with The American Red Cross and The American Cancer Society. Ann is survived in death by her children: Paula Kammers, Thomas (Jamie) Marinelli, Sylvia (Kevin) Timmer; four grandchildren: Robert, Jennifer, Jefrey (Loretta), Renee; four great grandchildren: Mario, Elio, Enzio, August; sister: Linda Kolkema; sister-in-law: Mary Tardani along with many nieces and nephews. Ann is preceded in death by her parents: Settimo and Josephine Marinelli; child: Samuel James “Jim” Marinelli; sister: Maria Tardani; brothers: Martin Tardani, Phillip (Diane) Tardani, Louis (Louise) Tardani, Leonard (Sally) Tardani, Sam Tardani, Richard Tardani; sisters-in-law: Sharon Tardani, Delores Tardani; brother-in-law: Roger Kolkema. VISITATION will be 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Friday, December 5, 2025, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 2929 McCracken, Muskegon, MI. 49441 with a MEMORIAL SERVICE at 11:00 AM. Arrangements through The Lee Chapel of Systema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI. 49444. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Harbor Hospice or St. Judes Children Hospital.
