Anna Marie Lynn's Obituary
Anna Marie Lynn, age 93, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at Seminole Shores Assisted Living Center. She was born February 15, 1928 in Muskegon to John and Marion (Rosenberg) VanBergen and lived her entire life in the area. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School with Class of 1946. On October 2, 1948, she married Claude Lynn in Muskegon and he preceded her in death in 2009. Anna worked as a secretary for Shaw Box Crane. She was a longtime active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she served as the chairperson on the Ways and Means Committee and was Editor of the Altar Society Newsletter. She also volunteered 31 years with the Mercy Guild at Mercy Hospital. She was of member of the St. Mary’s Girls Club and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Lynn; and 1 sister, Karen (Kenneth) Derby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Lynn; her son, Robin Lynn; her daughter, Janine Kitteridge; her parents and 1 sister. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (150 E Summit Ave) with Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church Memorial Fund.
