Annabelle White's Obituary
Mrs. Annabelle White, age 86, died Thursday afternoon, November 18, 2004, at her home. She was born June 26, 1918 in Muskegon to Herman & Anna Gust and had been a life resident of the area. Annabelle had been employed as a secretary at Lakey Foundry for 28 years prior to her retirement in 1972. She was a member of McGraft Congregational Church. Annabelle enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, and watching sports on TV or attending the actual game. On October 9, 1965 she married James N. White and he preceded her in death on January 1, 1978. She was also preceded in death by her twin-sister, Virginia Hayes and 2 brothers, Herman and Willard Gust. SURVIVORS include her daughter, Susan & David Workman and their children; Anne & Dan Brush and their children, Chailey and Drew; Derek & Kristi Workman; Chad & Laura Workman and their son, Adam; son, James White, Jr.; daughter, Jean Lynch and children; niece Peggy & Glen Jorgenson and children. SERVICES will be 2 PM Monday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue 231-726-5210 with Dr. James Harwood officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery. VISITATION will be one-hour prior to the service, from 1-2 PM. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to Visiting Nurse Hospice, Inc. will be appreciated.
