Anna G. Kurent's Obituary
Mrs. Anna G. Kurent, age 95, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Sanctuary at McAuley. She was born July 19, 1916 in Houghton, MI to Anton and Mary (Dolar) Pavlin. She married Valentine M. Kurent on April 15, 1939 in Muskegon. He preceded her in death on May 27, 1984. Anna was a member of the former St. Joseph Catholic Church and SNPJ Slovanian Society. She is survived by her son, Richard N. Kurent and his wife, Linda ; one niece and two nephews and their families who reside in the local area. The MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2011 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231)798-1100, Fr. Norman Droski officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIAL contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
