Anna Irene Richards' Obituary
Anna Irene Richards, age 85, passed away Sunday morning, December 26, 2010 following a long illness. Anna was born in Muskegon on May 13, 1925 to Andrew and Anna (Bitson) Biddle and was a life long resident of the Muskegon area. She married Mr. Darrell E. Richards in Muskegon on January 29, 1949 and he preceded her in death on November 9, 1995. Anna was formerly employed at Teledyne-Continental Motors and was a faithful member of Dalton Baptist Church. She shared her faith in God as a Sunday school teacher to elementary age children for 30+ years and enjoyed participating in the Ladies Bible Study group. Anna also enjoyed crafts, cooking and was a fan of the Muskegon Fury and Lumberjacks hockey teams. She is survived by: five children, Sandra (Jack) Crowell of Muskegon, Judith (Pastor Scott) Church of Fruitport, Donald (Debbie) Richards of Twin Lake, Phyllis Rinehart of Webberville, MI and Amy Richards of Muskegon; one sister, Mable Dagen of N. Muskegon; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her: parents; two sisters and two brothers. The funeral service will be held at, 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 31, 2010 at: The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Rev. Craig Cramblet officiating. Visitation: Thursday, 6-8 P.M. Interment: E. Dalton, Oakhill Cemetery. Memorial Contributions: Lewy Body Dementia Association or Dalton Baptist Church Kitchen Fund.
