Anna Mary (Panozzo) Kochmanski's Obituary
Mrs. Anna Mary Kochmanski, age 82, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2005. She was born December 20, 1922 in Muskegon to Albert and Mary (Budzyn) Kling and lived all of her life in the area. She married Raymond Panozzo in 1946, and he preceded her in death in 1953. She married Bernard Kochmanski in 1957, and he preceded her in death in 2001. Prior to her retirement, Anna worked as the head cook for Reeths-Puffer Schools for over 10 years. She was also an independent caterer for many years. She was an active member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church where she sang in the choir for many years and was involved with the Ladies Guild. Anna was also an active member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #599, the Muskegonites Child Study Group, the Melodiers Singers and the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel. SURVIVORS include 7 children, Jeanette (Bill) Phillips, Jim (Connie) Panozzo, Raymond (Karen) Panozzo, Marie (Walt) Faltinowski, Mary (Allen) Carpenter, John (Diane) Kochmanski, Diane (Todd) Engelman; 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Ted (Bernice) Kling, Hank (Jean) Kling, Ed (Joan) Kling; 2 sisters, Wanda (Harry) Ryznar, Julia Christian; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 1 daughter, Marva Jean Groendal, 1 granddaughter, Christina Marie Faltinowski and by her parents. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, November 18, 2005 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. INTERMENT will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION with Anna’s family will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at the Sytsema Funeral Home, 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210. The Rosary will be prayed at 3:45 PM Thursday afternoon. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Memorial Fund or the Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence of Muskegon-Oceana.
