Annemarie Elizabeth Bansen's Obituary
Mrs. Annemarie Elizabeth Bansen, age 95, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 in Twin Lake, Michigan. She was born in Konigsberg, Germany on December 27, 1921 to Herman and Lydia (Krause) Linde. Annemarie had two twin brothers eleven months older, Alfred and Martin. Both died in WWII, Alfred age 21 and Martin age 23. On July 4, 1944, Annemarie married Henry Bansen in Germany and they moved to the United States in 1957. She was a strong Christian woman and was a member of Central Assembly of God. Annemarie enjoyed spending winters in Florida and did extensive traveling to Germany, Rome, Italy, Sicily, California, Texas and Connecticut. She is survived by her daughter, Margrit (John) Huettner of Twin Lake; daughter-in-law, Karen Bansen; grandchildren, Chelsea (fiancé, Steve Harvey) Huettner and Kevin (Lamphanh) Huettner; 2 great-grandsons, Henry and Harrison Huettner; step-grandchildren, Ralph, Randy and Ray Bevins and families; sister-in-law, Ursula Bansen and three nephews, Ginter (Ursula) Bansen, Peter Bansen and Harald (Cathy) Bansen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bansen; son, Bert Bansen; her parents; two brothers, Alfred and Martin Linde; four brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 19, 2017 at Central Assembly of God (896 Home St., Muskegon, MI 49442) with Rev. Wally Reames, III presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Twin Lake Cemetery. MEMORIALS in Annemarie’s memory may be directed to Central Assembly Building Fund.
