Annette Mary Kovacs' Obituary
Annette Mary Kovacs, age 66, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021, in Grand Haven, MI.
She was born March 13, 1955, in Wyandotte, MI to Lawrence R. and Rosemarie (Malinowski) Frankhouse.
Annette was a hard worker, holding jobs for the Michelin Tire Corporation as executive secretary and French translator, Spiegel, Truven Health Analytics in Ann Arbor as a data processing/programmer, and Van Drie Furniture and Markey Township in Houghton Lake as her “fun retirement jobs”. She was kind, caring, sensitive, would help with anything, an amazing listener, and was able to help others through difficult times. She was a “Foodie” before it was in vogue!
She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Rosemarie Frankhouse; four sisters: Carol Burge, Gail (Bob) Pettit, Kathy (Jeff) Thompson and Lauren (Steve) Johnson; a wonderful, caring aunt to three nieces: Catrina (Bogdan) Choate-Heretoiu, Melissa (Shane) Moore and Mary Grace Johnson; four nephews: John Stogiera, Matt (Anna) Stogiera, Jeff (Stephanie) Thompson and Ben Johnson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Norman Droski as celebrant. Interment will be in Lakeshore Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers a memorial to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital is appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 620 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417.
