Ann Frances Fitzpatrick's Obituary
Mrs. Ann Fitzpatrick, age 93, passed away Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. She was born January 15, 1915 in Muskegon to John and Elizabeth (Czvitkovics) Jandris. Ann married Francis Thomas Fitzpatrick. Francis preceded her in death on December 25, 1967. She was employed as a clerk at Coles Bakery for 32 years, retiring in 1977. Prior to that, she had been employed at the Norge Plant in Muskegon Heights. Ann was a life long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother. Ann loved watching her grandchildren compete in various sports and participate in other school activities. She also enjoyed spending time with her sisters. Ann loved nature, especially taking long walks along Lake Michigan. She is survived by her 2 children, Jerry (Sheila) Fitzpatrick and Janet (James) Brainard of Norton Shores; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Fitzpatrick of Saline, MI, Catherine (Eric) Nowak of Manassas, VA, Joseph (Beth) Fitzpatrick of Kingsley, MI., John (Anne) Brainard of Norton Shores, Joseph (Lynelle) Brainard of Muskegon, Jeffrey (Kristin) Brainard of Knoxville, TN; 12 great – grandchildren, (one deceased); brother, William (Tillie) Jandris of Norton Shores; sister, Mary Matz of Muskegon; sister-in-law, Phyllis Fitzpatrick of Muskegon and several nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her brother Louis Jandris, and 4 sisters, Christine Jacobs, Rose Erickson, Helen Pavlak, and Elizabeth Genter.
