Annina D. Betts' Obituary
Annina D. Betts, age 92, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Chestnut Fields. She was born on October 16, 1925 to Eugenio and Assunta (Casale) Sivo in Providence, Rhode Island. Annina was a loving mother and an adored grandmother and great-grandmother. She would cook for anyone who came to the door. Through her work life she was the owner of La Bella Vita health spa as well as Interdyne Systems, Inc. located in Norton Shores. She is survived by her children, Assunta Wood, Paul J. Betts, Jr., Ann (A.J.) Moore, June Betts-Wade (Frank Vargas); grandchildren, Jack (Crystal) Andree, Scott (Sharon) Andree, Brynn (Casey) Ashby-Wade, Dilan Wade; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene (Viola) Sivo, John (Mary Jane) Sivo; and sister, Marie Caluori. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Betts, Sr. and brothers, Saverio and Antonio Sivo. A private family burial will take place in Spring Lake Cemetery with Deacon Bill Cook presiding. In lieu of flowers donations in Annina’s name can be made to the Harbor Hospice Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100.
