Ann Jean Jolman's Obituary
Mrs. Ann Jean Jolman, age 87, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2008, at a local hospital. She was born April 20, 1921 in Muskegon to John and Kate (Cook) DeWind and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. On May 6, 1942, she married Wheeler Jolman in Columbus, Mississippi and he preceded her in death in 1997. Prior to retirement, Ann worked 20 years as a bus driver for Orchard View Schools. She was a member of Orchard View Congregational Church and volunteered for Love, Inc. She enjoyed gardening, sewing quilts at Love, Inc. SURVIVORS include her children, Dennis (Sally) Jolman of Whitehall, Douglas (Rose) Jolman of Muskegon, Michael Jolman of Muskegon, Susan K. Jolman of Langcaster, CA, Steven (Carla) Jolman of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Judy Jolman (Michael’s wife) and 2 brothers. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be celebrated 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Orchard View Congregational Church with the Rev. Tom Beetham officiating. INTERMENT will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service, 12-1 PM Tuesday.
