Dear Family, I worked where Ann Lived: and Live she did. Always walking the halls, she had the best stories and sense of humor. She would often wander in to my office and ask a question that made me stop and have to really think about the answer. By the time I came up with something, she would be on to the next subject without missing a beat. Please know that she enjoyed her time in our community; and that she was much loved by her neighbors and those of us that had the privilege of caring for her and spending time with her. To all my nephews and their families:

I was so saddened to hear about my sisters' passing. Although I am glad to know she is no longer suffering.

She was a wonder woman of her time, having six boys and bringing them up successfully.

One thing that always stuck in my mind are the times when Ann and I were on the same bus home from grammer school and I would always try to beat her home - but she never let me do it all those years!

In the winter we would skate together on the flooded tennis court - your Mom would invariably end up in a fist fight with this girl she detested - she was tough even then!

It was a pleasure and an honor to have her as a sister, I shall miss her dearly.

To the Gilleece Family:

While I did not get to spend enough time with Aunt Ann due to geographical constraints, the limited time we did get to spend together was wonderful.
Meeting and getting to know your Mom was like meeting a female version of my Dad.

They are alot alike (no real surprise!)
They embrace life to the fullest and live their lives with no regrets. They both love to laugh and make others laugh (which they do often and with great relish).

I was very happy that Aunt Ann came to Long Island to spend that week with Dad and my family. We will cherish those moments together when we think of her.
