Ann L. (Ruud) Vredeveld's Obituary
Mrs. Ann Louise (Ruud) Vredeveld, age 66, passed away very unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at her home. She was born April 4, 1944 in Muskegon to Allen John and Dorothy Jane (Kanitz) Ruud and lived in the area all of her life. On July 10, 1965, she married Alan H. Vredeveld in Muskegon and he survives her. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. SURVIVORS include her husband, Alan; 2 children, Tammy (Robert) Farber of Norton Shores, James (Theresa) Vredeveld of Norton Shores; 4 grandchildren, Kassidy Vredeveld, Lucas Farber, Trenton and Sierrah Vredeveld; her mother, D. Jane Ruud of Muskegon; 1 sister, Margo Harris of Muskegon; 2 sisters-in-law, Joyce (Jim) Montgomery of Muskegon, and Mitzi (Frank) Schmidt of Flushing. She was preceded in death by 5 granddaughters, Angel and Katelyn Vredeveld, Allison, Brianna and Katherine Farber; and her father, Allen J. Ruud. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 12:00 PM Friday, December 24, 2010 in Marian Chapel at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Philip P. Salmonowicz as celebrant. INTERMENT will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231) 759-8565.
