Anthony Wayne Bon's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved father, grandfather, son, and friend. Anthony Wayne Bon, age 42, passed away on June 20, 2026, in Ingham County, Michigan. Anthony was born on June 24, 1983, in Muskegon, Michigan.
Anthony was stubborn and hard-headed, but he would do anything he could for the ones he loved. He loved fixing things like cars and dirt bikes. He was an amazing tattoo artist. If he wasn’t fixing something or drawing in his free time, he would have been at his favorite spot by the river, spending time with his kids and grandkids, cooking out, and fishing. His laugh and smile were contagious, and his kids and grandkids were his whole world.
Anthony is survived by his children, Hailey Bon, Mercedes Bon, Anthony Bon Jr., Destiny Bon, Nevaeh Short, Elijah Bon, Azmariah Bon, and Alezaya Bon; grandchildren, Evereigh and Bodie; mom and dad, Debbie and Fred Smith; siblings, Michael (Rose) Davis, Fred (Kristen Slomka) Smith Jr., and Mikayla (Zach) VanHassel; and fiancée, Nichole Smith. Anthony is preceded in death by his grandparents, Morris and Nancy Bon and Gordon and Lucille Davis.
A graveside service for Anthony will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Ravenna Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help cover funeral expenses.
