Anthony Junior Krol's Obituary
Anthony Junior Krol, age 89, passed away on January 13, 2026. He was born in Muskegon Heights, MI on December 2, 1936, to Anthony and Sophia (Kraska) Krol. Tony grew up in Muskegon and after graduation from Muskegon Heights High School, he went on to work for Brunswick. During his time at Brunswick, he was drafted to the Army. After honorably serving his country, he went back and worked for Brunswick and earned a college degree. After working there for 40+ years, he retired as a production lead in the pin department.
On October 13, 1962, Tony married the love of his life, Rita Martin. Together they spent 63 loving years together. He enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. Tony was an avid golfer and bowler. He loved cheering his grandson’s on at their sporting events and was one of their biggest fans. He was a devoted sports fan to all Michigan sports, including the Tigers, Lions and of course, the Wolverines. Tony had a deep love for the Lord and was a devout member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He was also a proud member and the secretary of The Carpenters Union of Brunswick, a member of the Muskegon Eagles and Vikings of Muskegon. He took great pride in being a father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Tony is survived by his wife, Rita; two daughters, Lisa (James) Bush and Cheryl Sherburn; three grandchildren; Jacob (Megan) Sherburn, Christopher Sherburn, and Nicholas Bush; sister, Virginia Flemen; and brother-in-law, Bernard (Leslie) Martin. He was preceded by his parents, and multiple brothers and sisters.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 23, 2026, at St. Francis de Sales, Marian Chapel, 2929 McCracken St., Norton Shores, MI 49441.
