Louise And Gordon Downey
Wanted to say a few things to commemorate my brother Tony (Anthony).
He served in the Army during the Vietnam War but was stationed in S. Korea.
He liked smoking pot when younger. ;o)
After the service he worked in a foundry for awhile and then did odd jobs until his health (mental) became so bad.
He loved to crack a joke and was great with my kids when they were young.
We took a trip from Michigan to Arizona together one summer years ago so I could retrieve my dog and a few other things. We had a great time with hardly any money. ;o)
He visited us in Arizona and Washington state different years (he lived in MI at the time). We had a great time then too with my kids (use to be a single mom). He also visited us in San Diego for quite a few months and again, we had a great time (I was married to Gordy by that time).
When we did go back to Michigan to visit, we would always go down to the Pier and go out to eat and he would smoke with Gordy. Always had a nice time. The last time he was quieter than normal.
He was quite a bit younger than me so when growing up we had totally different interests, however, when he was a baby and toddler my sister and I use to dress him up as a doll. Cute pics.
He was married when he was still in the service (if my memory serves me) and has two beautiful daughters, 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Love you Tony.
