Mr. Anthony D. "Tony" Powell's Obituary
Mr. Anthony D. “Tony” Powell, age 74, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at his home. He was born on February 5, 1938 in Muskegon to Frank and Marguerite (Lasser) Pietkiewicz. Tony was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and loved traveling the world with his wife, Mary. On October 27, 1989, Tony married the former Mary H. Ginman and she survives him along with 2 daughters, Lisa Powell and Lora Duram; 3 grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Karen (Evan Ewing) Kinsley and Kevin Vandoren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, and 1 brother. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Anthony M. Pelak presiding. VISITATION will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210 with the ROSARY PRAYED at 6:00 PM. BURIAL will be in Laketon Township Cemetery. MEMORIALS to Prince of Peace or Charity of Choice would be appreciated.
