Anthony Szot's Obituary
Mr. Anthony “Tony” Szot, age 53, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, February 10, 2025. He was born in Muskegon on October 25, 1971 to Frederick and Alice (Rederstorf) Szot. Tony’s innovative mind and exceptional talents enabled him to achieve great success in the Recreational Vehicle industry. For many years, he worked as an RV specialist and supervisor before recently starting his own business. Known for his generosity, Tony frequently lent a helping hand to those in need and made ongoing donations to the Muskegon Rescue Mission. A hard-working individual, he took immense pride in all his endeavors. Tony is survived by his life partner, Joann Pierce; children, Zackery Szot, Tamara (William) Hekkema, Jacob Johnson, Nichole (Ryan) Kozik; nine grandchildren; and siblings, Mike (Barb) Szot, John (Sue) Szot, Joe (Beth) Szot, Art (Bonnie) Szot, Andy (Sherri) Szot, Freddy (Jody) Szot, Ruth (John) Lakatos, and Katie Szot. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Zander Anthony Kozik.
