Toni was a great lady ...her kindness and strong spirit provided many a homebase to all her neices (me) and nephews over many many years.
She inspired me to become an independent working woman in the 1950s when I used to walk to her house after school every day and sometimes to her place of business...
She sent me (and many others) birthday cards every year, offering a strong contact to Muskegon where I was born and grew up.
I loved her house, the lilies of the valley in the spring, the backyard, the porch for spying on neighbors, her little dogs, her bubble baths, and her pots of tea.
She was also a great actress...her and Nellie used to put on two-women shows that left me in total awe.
