Ardis R. Bos' Obituary
Mrs. Ardis R. Bos, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 5, 1934 in Muskegon to Nicholas and Hattie (Dykema) Duiser, and resided in the area her entire life. Ardis was a member of Unity Reformed Church and enjoyed traveling, knitting and crocheting. She was a fan of the Detroit Tigers, and was a Muskegon Big Red football ticket holder for over 50 years. On May 14, 1954, Ardis married Clifford Bos, and he preceded her in death on September 20, 1993. SURVIVORS include daughter, Cheryl (Marc) Dobberstein and their children, Ryan and Linda, Jeremy and Laura and Erik and Jessica; son, Steve and Marilee Bos and their children, Kim and William Bos Olson, Ben and fiancée Danielle, and Andrew; daughter, Debra (Jim) Boes and their children, Matt and Sarah, and Kelli; daughter, Kris and Mike Benson and their children, Amanda and Andrea; four great-grandchildren, Harlynn, Lillian, Ella, and Grayson; and sister, Genevieve (Jim) Bos of Muskegon. Ardis was also preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Boes, and her brothers, Gerald and Jim Duiser. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11 AM Monday, October 17, 2016 at Unity Reformed Church (1521 Porter Rd) with Pastor James Zinger officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
