Ardith L. "Tootie" Perysian's Obituary
Ardith L. “Tootie” Perysian, age 87, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 26, 1937, to Honore and Henrietta (Bosch) Jones in Grand Haven, MI and has been a lifelong resident in West Michigan. Tootie was a dedicated employee of Holiday Inn where she worked for many years. She married the love of her life, Douglas Perysian Sr. in Muskegon and together they cherished many years filled with love and laughter. He preceded her in death on August 12, 1999. Tootie had a passion for crafting and was gifted in various aspects of art. Above all, she had an unconditional love for her family and friends. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart, loving them as much as they loved her. She will truly be missed by many. Tootie is survived by her five children, Terry Perysian, Douglas Perysian Jr., Rick (Debra) Perysian, Connie (Dan) Deephouse and Tammy Lillmars; 10 grandchildren, Shane (Dani) Perysian, Courtney (Brandon) Schaller, Tony (Angie) Perysian, Melissa Amaro, Jesse (Lana) Twining, Jackie Bays, Carley Williams, Cody Lillmars, Megan Lillmars and Miranda Hutson; numerous great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sharlene Jones; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Douglas Perysian Sr.; daughter, Carla (J.B.) Twining; brother, Matt Jones; sisters, Shirley (Calvin) Hale and Vivian Jones; daughter-in-law, Vickie Perysian; son-in-law, Paul Lillmars; best friend, Joyce Hall; and beloved pup, Saddie. A Celebration of Tootie’s Life will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the Fruitport Eagles, 3354 S. Dangl Rd., Muskegon, MI 49444.
