Ardith L. Pike's Obituary
Mrs. Ardith L. Pike, age 81, died Thursday, December 15, 2005 in Muskegon. She was born October 29, 1924 in Chester Twp., MI, to Herbert & Violet (Gilbert) Strohm, Sr., and had resided in the area all of her life. Mrs. Pike was a member of Allen Ave. Christian Reformed Church, and a member of their Mary Martha Society. On June 21, 1947, she married Marvin Pike, Sr. and he survives her along with 3 children, Marv (Mary) Pike, Jr., Charlene Pike, and Larry Pike all of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Rebecca (Thomas) Sharum of Grand Rapids, Gregory (Summer) Pike of Muskegon, Karen (Shawn McNeilly) Pike, and also Brian Burnham; 7 great grandchildren, Heather, Tyler and Ryan Burnham, Ethan and Logan Pike, Brandon LeMieux, and Kylie McNeilly; brother, Gilbert (Violet) Strohm; sister, Maryruth (John) Gardner; sister-in-law, Lois Strohm; many friends and neighbors, and special friend Keenen Wakefield. Mrs. Pike was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Herbert Strohm, Jr. SERVICES will be 11 AM Monday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Rev. Robert Bierenga officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1-4 PM Sunday. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana will be appreciated.
