Arland Edward Schultz's Obituary
Arland Edward Schultz, age 88, was called home to be with his Lord & Savior on April 30, 2024. He claimed the promises of God’s Word, to be given eternal life through his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He was born on June 30, 1935, in Muskegon, MI to LaVerne and Madge (Harvey) Schultz. After graduating from North Muskegon High School in 1954, he faithfully served his country in the Army as a Military Police officer in Germany.
Upon returning, he met the love of his life, (Vera) Jean (Johnson) Schultz on a blind date and knew immediately she would be his wife. They were married on August 16, 1958, and together they cherished nearly 66 years together.
He worked as a vehicle service technician, repairing friends and family's cars in his home business and was also lead mechanic for the US postal service in Muskegon. After his retirement from the US postal service, he enjoyed driving trucks for several West Michigan tool shops.
He loved riding his bicycle, especially with his family. He was a very hard worker, providing for his family and giving to others. He also lived a life of service to his Lord and lived his faith everyday, serving at church, reading and studying his Bible, and praying faithfully for his family and friends. He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed until we see him again with our Lord in heaven.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Harbor Hospice for their loving care.
