Arlene Kay Kittell's Obituary
Arlene K. (Schultz) Kittell, age 66, went home to be with The Lord on Friday, May 22, 2020 at The Grandview Hospital in Dayton, OH. She was born on November 11, 1953 and was the only daughter of Paul L., Sr. and Sophie (Kuzniar) Schultz. Arlene was married to the late Paul Kittell in June of 2014. She later married Darrell Hanks and resided with him in Ohio until his passing. Arlene was a longtime member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Nunica and remained a devoted member of church throughout her life. She was a member of The Red Hat Society and loved playing bingo with friends. Arlene had an adventurous spirit, she loved to travel and loved animals. At the age of 14, Arlene bought a horse with babysitting money and brought it home to two very surprised parents! Her love for animals continued throughout her life. Arlene graduated from Fruitport High School and furthered her education at MCC. She worked as the office manager for the family business, until her retirement in 2005. Arlene is survived by her brothers, Paul (Linda) Schultz, Jr., Ken (Penny) Schultz, numerous nieces and nephews, and her ever important church families. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Sophie Schultz, and her husbands, Paul Kittell and Darrell Hanks. Due to current health restrictions, a memorial service for Arlene will be held at a later date. She will be buried in Fruitport Pine Hill Cemetery. For a more lasting memory, donations in Arlene’s name can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church of Greenville Ohio.
