Arlene “June†Luce age 73, of Ravenna died, Friday, October 1, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
June was born on March 26, 1937 in Chester Township, Michigan to the late Clifford and Geneva (VanderLaan) Moe. She married Edward J. Luce on September 19, 1953 in Ravenna, Michigan. She worked as a custodian at Ravenna Schools until her retirement.
June is survived by her husband of 57 years: Edward J. Luce of Ravenna, 2 Sons: Dennis (Shirley) Luce and Doug (Joni) Luce both of Ravenna. 2 Daughters: Karen (Henry) Bostrom of Muskegon and Rhonda (David) Ward of Ravenna. 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. 3 Brothers: Earl (Paz) Moe of Grand Rapids, Arden Moe of Coral, MI and Wayne (Diane) Moe of Lapeer, MI. 2 Sisters: Ilene (Walter) Boho of Croten, MI, Rosalie (Darrell) Harper of Howard City, MI and Sister In-Law: Ruth (Claude) Moe-McNitt of Ravenna.
June was preceded in death in addition to her parents by: 1 Daughter: Connie Luce and
1 Brother: Glen Moe.
Funeral Services for June will be conducted on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 12:00pm at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with Rev. Mike Wetzig officiating. Burial will follow at Hilton Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home on Monday, October 4, 2010 from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm.
Memorials may be directed to the American Legion Auxiliary or Harbor Hospice.
