Mrs. Arlene Ruth Meisch's Obituary
Mrs. Arlene R. Meisch, 85, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, in Muskegon. She was born April 20, 1936, to Harold and Gladys (North) Locke in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident. Arlene enjoyed doing crafts, especially painting, and sewing. On August 16, 1952 she married Thomas J. Meisch, and he survives her along with six children: Harold J. (Diane) Meisch, Diane (Daniel) Streit, Yvonne (Sam Barnhouse) Johnivan, Ronald (Amy) Meisch, Arlon (Susan) Meisch, Scott (Debra Coy) Meisch; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Phyllis (Charles) Carson. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Danny Streit, and two brothers, Floyd, and Howard. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 11, from 12:00 - 3:00 PM at Yvonne's home, 1162 S. Quarterline Rd., Muskegon, MI 49442.. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Meisch may be made to the Harbor Hospice Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
