Mrs. Arloa R. Gaultney's Obituary
Mrs. Arloa Gaultney, 83, passed away Wednesday morning, June 24, at her home. She was born February 25, 1932 to Middy and Alice (Beckeman) Langlois in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. Arloa had co-owned and operated Lee Manufacturing with her husband, and had been a member of St. Jean Catholic Church. She married Lee P. Gaultney on October 4, 1952, and he preceded her in death in 1991. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Ann (Gene) Wasserman of Haslett, Phil (Sally) Gaultney of Waterford, Shelly Carlson of Muskegon, Bruce (Cindy) Gaultney of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren, LeeAnn (Bob) Brunetz, Maryann Wasserman, Season Gaultney, Autumn Gaultney, Josh Dibble, Shannon (Richard) Glinski, Bruce (Melissa) Gaultney, Jr., Christie (Art) Vela, Steven and TJ Arens; 4 great-grandchildren, Gavin, Blake, Elliott and Grace; 2 brothers, Jim (Peg) Langlois, Alan (Suzanne) Langlois; in-laws, Mary Jo Langlois and Larry (Darlene) Dowd. Arloa was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Pat Carlson; grandson, Steven Carlson; 2 sisters, Dolores Langlois and Mary Jean Dowd; and her brother, Bernie Langlois. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 27, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with the Rev. Fr. Norman Droski officiating. Entombment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 5-8 PM Friday evening.
