Arnie called me every year to wish me a happy Birthday, I'll miss getting his call.
To The Redeker Family, Lots of love and prayers go out to your family from our family. We have lots of memories of Arnie. When your Dad and Mom hosted the Usiak Family Reunion. Arnie gave Airplane Rides to everyone that wanted to go. When he came to the reunions we always enjoyed visiting. We are so sorry we can not attend to the services today due to health concerns. All our love. Ray and Sheryl (Usiak)

Dear Family,
God has blessed you all with Arnie as a husband-father-grand father - son and brother. and to others as a friend and mentor. Arnie was both to Bob and I. I was invited to join the Altar Guild with Anne as my mentor but Arnie was right there beside her teaching me as well. Arnie's calls on birthdays and anniversaries always brought a smile to my heart, Arnie was a true mentor when it came to his faith in God and the way he shared it with everyone he came in contact with. He will truly be missed. May God's peace be with you.

I got to know Arnie since 1973 when I bought my first car from him and since then bought many others. He always treated me with respect and was someone I could call a friend. Whenever I needed to just talk he was always there to listen and even help when he could. Thank you Arnie for all you did for me and you will be greatly missed. May you rest in peace my Friend.

I had known Arnie since I was about 12 years old.(My mother was Mary Grosse and worked in their office until she retired). I even had the privilege of working in the office with her on occasion, answering phones and doing minimal bookwork. I always enjoyed being around the employees and family at Redekers and remember many summertime parties for the employees and even an occasion or two when people ended up at our house on Woodlawn. ( I also was lucky enough to have Aileen as a teacher in high school before she married Bill.) Arnie came to my mothers "remembrance" in 2000 and it was wonderful to see him. My step-mother is now at Grand Pines so I was made aware when Arnie arrived there as well though I did not run into him during that time.
My prayers and condolences are with your entire family at this time. You were truly blessed to have this wonderful gentleman as a father and there is no truer statement than the one in the Tribune that stated that his generation was one of the greatest and it is such a loss for the families and also the world to see them passing on. I know my grandchildren and great-children will be missing some great life lessons their lives could teach them about respect, responsibility, humor, humility and love.
Take care everyone and God Bless.

A smile or a friendly hello whenever I had my car fixed. What a wonderful man. May he rest in peace and may you all find comfort, knowing he's with the Lord for sure.
It was a joy knowing Arnie and Ann. We came to know them by attending St. John's Lutheran Church and School. Arnie called our home every birthday and anniversary with well wishes. Always smiling, he was a delight. Such an inspiration to our young people. He will be missed. Our sympathies to the family. Sincerely - Craig and Kimberly Siple and Girls
