Art Olsen's Obituary
Art Olsen, age 76, passed away in his home on April 8, 2026. He was born on March 25, 1950, to Arthur Olsen and Marjorie Olson in Muskegon, MI. On March 26, 1977, he married Pam Heisser, and they spent 49 loving years together. Pam survives Art along with 2 children, Wendy Bowen and Robert Olsen; son-in-law, Dave Bowen; granddaughters, Alyssa Bowen, Alexis Bowen, and Renée Roth; and sister, Suzanne Hershey. Art was preceded in death by his parents.
Prior to his retirement, Art worked for 37 years as a self-employed distributor for Little Debbie Snack Cakes in Muskegon. He was loved by his community and always made time to chat with those who knew him when he was out and about. His interests included his family most of all, and he always made sure to attend his children’s and grandchildren’s school events, graduations, holidays, and more. He also loved animals, hiking, biking, playing racquetball, and Thursday night dinners out with his friends. His youngest granddaughters fondly remember sleeping over with their grandparents every Tuesday after school, saying it was the best night of the week.
