Arthur Earl Evans Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Arthur Earl Evans Sr., age 89, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at his home in Muskegon Heights. He was born in Jackson, Tennessee to James and Pauline (Brantley) Swink. Arthur was employed by Campbell Wyant and Cannon for over 40 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. Arthur enjoyed fishing and cooking, especially for his family and church. On August 5, 1950, Arthur married the former Mary Lou Johnson and she survives him along with five children, Peggy (Jerry) Moore, Barb LeNoir, Sandy (Darnell) McCallum, Arthur (Stella) Evans III, and Miracle Johnson; son-in-law, George Flemings; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three children, Joyce Evans, Jackie Flemings, and Arthur Evans Jr. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Mona View Cemetery (3335 Mona View Dr, Muskegon, MI 49444) with Rev.
