Arthur L. Fitzgerald's Obituary
Mr. Arthur L. Fitzgerald, age 85, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in Muskegon. He was born on July 13, 1931 to Glen and Rophena (Hill) Fitzgerald and lived in the Muskegon area most of his life. Art married Elizabeth DeCheney on May 1, 1954 in Muskegon. He had worked road construction for Union Local #1191 for over 30 years. Arthur was a longtime member and past president of the Fruitport Eagle’s. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed bowling, camping, and traveling but foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS include his loving wife of 62 years, Elizabeth; children, Tom (Teresa) Fitzgerald, Joanne (Jerry) Holmes, Karen (Bob) Playter, Amanda (Joe) Dausman, Pamela (Tom) Munafo, Brenda (George) Pierce; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dottie Gagnon and Kay (Gary) Sumerix; and many loving nieces and nephews. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will take place at 11 AM Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Fruitport Eagles, 3354 S. Dangl Rd. Muskegon. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Arthur L.
