Arthur Peter Jones' Obituary
Mr. Arthur Peter Jones, age 79, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Muskegon, Michigan. He was born in Muskegon on March 14, 1940 to Phillip and Thelma (Grey) Jones. Art had been employed by Wolverine Power prior to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and oil painting. He also enjoyed puzzles and was known as the “Jigsaw Puzzle King” by his friends at Roosevelt Park Nursing Home. Art is survived by his daughter, Julie (Duane Koomen) Auble-Koomen; one grandson, Blake Auble; and special friend, Nellie Cottrill. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Jones; special friend, Helen Hart; three brother and two sisters. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2019 at First Wesleyan Church (1040 E. Forest Ave., Muskegon 49442). Burial will take place in Egelston Township Cemetery.
