Arthur E. Thurston's Obituary
Arthur Eugene Thurston, age 71, caught his last fish and hunted his last season. He passed away peacefully in his home on February 2, 2015. Arthur’s passion in life was fishing and he mastered the skill. He will be remembered by his friends and neighbors as the person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Arthur retired at age 55 from the CWC foundry after 36 years of service. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Barbara (Payne, Temple); sons: Michael (Shelia) Thurston, Brian (Karen) Thurston; daughter, Susan (Peter) Lance; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Lillian (Boerma) Thurston. There will be no services. Any memorial contributions for Arthur should be made to the charity of your choice.
