To Carol and sons,
I worked with Art way back in the late 60's at Muskegon Tool. Always a good guy. After returning from the service in 1973, I visited Art at your home just to say hello. He always struck me as a genuine person with a genuine smile.
After not seeing him for 35 years, I felt it necessary for me to tell you what you have probably heard so many times lately. My sincere condolences for your loss. Tom Wood##imported-begin##Tom Wood##imported-end##
To Eric Bachmann with deepest sympathy from your freinds at American Coil Spring Company. May the thoughts and prayers of friends and the special memories of your Father help to comfort you and your family at this difficult time.##imported-begin##American Coil Spring Company##imported-end##

Art is a great and dear friend that I will truely miss. Over the years we had rode our motorcycles all over Michigan and Canada. Spent time together with our wives, family and friends doing things like going to the Muskegon Fury, Red Wings games and Tigers baseball. We have had so much fun over the years and I will never forget you and time we shared together.
God Bless and I love you

I will never forget when I first met Art. It was deer hunting in Mio with Ron Wilson and Gary Dudock. Art and I became great friends instantly. Since then we had many other good times together. Our last good time together was in October when he came out to Indian River with several friends on bikes and we went on a color tour riding our Harley's. I can't believe he's gone! I will really miss him.
