Arthur R. VanHall's Obituary
Arthur R. VanHall, age 86, of Ft. Pierce, FL (formerly of Spring Lake)
passed away Saturday September 9, 2006 at his home in Florida. He was born December 28, 1919 in Grand Haven to Arthur and Kathryn (Bishop) VanHall Sr.
On May 16, 1942 in Grand Haven he married Josephine Stolarz.
Art worked for 41 years and retired from A.P. Parts Corp. He was a member
of St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Ft. Pierce and previously of St. Mary's
Catholic Church. Art was a former member of Tri-Cities Supervisors Club,
Grand Haven Eagles, was an avid golfer having had two holes-in-one, enjoyed
playing cards, family reunions/golf outings, and was a big fan of baseball
especially the Florida Marlins.
He is survived by his wife Josephine, three daughters: Betty (Mike)
Fitzgerald of Plainfield, IL, Deb (Don) VanZee of Spring Lake, Pam (Steve)
Fritschen of Novi, MI, two sons; Larry (Eileen) VanHall of Muskegon, Tom
(Julie) VanHall of Hudsonville, 10 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren, two
sisters; Beatrice Paauwe of Holland, Barb Wildey of Spring Lake, two
brothers; Henry (Lillie) VanHall and Chuck (Marylin) VanHall both of Grand
Haven and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister,
Marjorie Bunker and a brother, Jack VanHall.
The Funeral Liturgy for Arthur will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St.
Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Leonard Sudlik as celebrant . Friends may
meet the family Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:45 p.m.
at VanZantwick, Bartels, Kammeraad in Spring Lake. Interment will be at
Spring Lake cemetery. Memorials to Treasure Coast Hospice, 2500 Virginia
