Audrey K. Cavanaugh's Obituary
Mrs. Audrey K. Cavanaugh, age 91, passed away Thursday evening, July 11, 2013 in Muskegon. She was born October 8, 1921 to Lester F.L. and Kathryn E. (Bryan) Petersen in Bailey, and was a life resident of the Muskegon area. Audrey worked in the Muskegon County Register of Deeds office for many years, retiring in 1970, and previously worked at Federal Department Store. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and knitting. Audrey was married to Robert A. Cavanaugh on September 17, 1966, and he preceded her in death on April 2, 1989. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Janice F. Meyers of Muskegon, Darlene K. (Ronald) Hegedus of St. Petersburg, FL, Michael L. (Myrna) Plumley of Mears; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 son-in-law, Jerrold Meyers; 1 sister, Leora Anderson; and 1 brother-in-law, Ervin “Andy” Anderson. At Mrs. Cavanaugh’s request there will be no services. Interment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
