Mrs. Audrey J. Miszewski's Obituary
Mrs. Audrey J. Miszewski, age 92, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Audrey was born June 25, 1924 to Samuel and Audrey (Wirick) LaPorte in Muskegon. On June 25, 1941, she married Joseph Miszewski. She was a homemaker raising four sons. She was a Cub Scout den mother and was very active in PTA and other school activities when her boys were young. Audrey enjoyed square dancing with her husband and spending weekends at Ford Lake in the summer where they entertained family and friends. Her special love was roaming the countryside looking for antiques at yard and estate sales. She is SURVIVED by her son, Robert (Lynn Ann) Miszewski and their children, RaChelle (Phillip) Pierce and Robert John Miszewski; her son, Randy (Susan) Miszewski and their children, Tammy (Bob) Gannon, Lisa Miszewski, Chad (Deb) Miszewski and Mike Parsons; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Jane Scougale; Mike Flannery who she called her fifth son; one special nephew, George Scougale and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; and sons, Samuel and David; brother, Samuel; and sister, Beverly. A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
