Austin F. Noll, IV's Obituary
After sharing one more sunset with us, Austin went back to be with our heavenly Father on June 13, 2018, at the age of 16. He was born in Santa Barbara, California on June 1, 2002, to Austin and Cheryl (Pung) Noll. Although he had a short life, Austin had the opportunity to live in many fun and beautiful places throughout the United States: Southlake, TX; Palo Alto, CA; Middleton, WI; and Grand Haven, MI. He was blessed to meet many wonderful people along the journey.
Austin loved so many things including being at the beach, going on walks, watching his favorite television shows like Barney, Sesame Street, and Mickey Mouse, reading books, playing the drums, and of course eating. Slowly all the things that were “Austin” were taken away by a devastating condition called MPS IIIA (Sanfilippo), a neurodegenerative disease. Despite all the hardships he endured, he always loved life and taught others how to love and appreciate it as well. He will forever be in our hearts.
He is survived by his parents, Austin and Cheryl Noll, of Middleton, WI, his sister, Madison, of Sterling Heights, MI. His paternal grandparents, Austin and Dorothy (Duffy) Noll, of Randolph, NJ. His maternal grandparents, Larry and Annette (Sue) Pung of Lansing, MI. Paternal aunt, Michelle (Alan) Vitulich. Maternal aunts, Michelle (Steve) Hayes, and Pam (Dan) O’Brien and maternal uncle, Lewis (Salli) Pung. Cousins: Andrew, Martha, Emily Hayes, Elizabeth, Michael, Christian Pung, Katie, Maggie, Jack O’Brien, and Ella and Caitlin Vitulich, along with numerous great aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents: Austin and Marguerite Noll and Howard and Eva Belle Fischer, and maternal great grandparents: Lewis and Esther Pung and Casper and Josette Bohr. And we cannot forget great uncles, Harold Smith and Robert Hillyard (aka “the Bob”).
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Charles Schwartz officiating. Visitation will take place 4-7 PM Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at The VanZantwick Chapel (620 Washington Ave) with a Rosary at 6:30 PM. Interment will take place in Lake Forest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Austin may be given to the National MPS Society (mpssociety.org/give/). Please sign the family’s online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com.
