Mrs. Barbara A. Brackenrich's Obituary
Mrs. Barbara A. Brackenrich, age 78, died Monday, October 19, 2015 after a long illness. Barb was born July 10, 1937 to Charles and Sylvia (Crookshank) Jack in Kiefer, West Virginia. On May 25, 1956 she married Roy L. Brackenrich in Clifton Forge, Virginia. They then moved to Muskegon where they raised four children. She loved to travel back home to West Virginia, and to cook and garden. Barb was dedicated to caring for her family and raising their children and will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Roy; and her children, Chuck (Marva) Brackenrich, Cindy Szydlowski, Carolyn (Bob) Wilkie and Curt (Jennifer) Brackenrich. She will also be fondly remembered by her twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and sister, Shelby Siegler. Barb was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters and two brothers. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be 2 :00 PM Thursday, October 22, 2015, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. 231 798-1100 with Pastor Jerry DePoy officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 PM Wednesday. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Family Bible Church.
