Barbara L. Fore's Obituary
Barbara L. Fore, 77, passed away Wednesday morning, April 10, 2024, in Muskegon. She was born September 11, 1946, in Christiansburg, VA to James and Geneva (Sutphin) Dove and moved to the Muskegon area in 2007. Barb enjoyed cooking and caring for her friends and family, including church members recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. She loved baking cakes and cookies, (she was best known for fruit cakes), organizing bake sales, and attending Wolf Lake Community Church. She was the oldest of nine children. On August 5, 1984, Barb married Robert E. “Bob” Fore, and he survives her along with five children, Cheryl (Paul) Puisis, Christopher Powers, Robin Fore, Rebekka (Lee) Meyer, Rosann (Steve) Meyer, 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Anthony (Tony) Powers. A private family gathering will take place in Muskegon, with final services taking place in Florida. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
