Barb lived across the street from us in the Nims Neighborhood on McGraft St. for many years. We enjoyed many lovely and lively conversations with her, especially about our "older" homes. The summer of 2003 was especially memorable because her daughter Christina, and son-in-law, Richard Smith, came for an extended visit and vacation with their three children. Our son, Nicholas, as well as his neighborhood friends, became good friends with the three grandchildren of Barb's; Savannah, Zachary, and Max. They shared good times in our backyard, and at the beach. It was a sad day for the children when the vacation ended.
Although we have not connected with Barb and her family for many years, we would think about her often. We extend our sympathy and love to her family. May her soul rest in peace. Our connection with Barb, Christina, Richard, and the children, as well as Alan, will never be forgotten. May God's blessings surround you with assurance, comfort, peace, and love.
