Barbara J. “Barb” Marks, age 86, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 25, 1937, to Harold and Goldie (Marceau) Emmenegger, in Grand Haven, MI. Barb dedicated 20 years to Ram Electronics where she worked in soldering, before dedicating 10 years to Meijer, where she retired in 2002. On February 7, 1990, she married Jerry Marks in Las Vegas, NV. Together they cherished 47 years full of love, laughter and plenty of banter. Barb was a faithful servant of our Lord and was formerly a long-time member of both St. Jean Baptiste and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing BINGO, pressing her luck at the casino and competing against Jerry and her friends at cribbage. Barb loved being her grandchildren’s personal cheerleader, she was an active fan at all their sporting events! She was an avid animal lover and cherished the many pets she had over the years. Barb took pleasure in the small things in life, such as unwinding with a glass or two of wine each night before bed. She will always be remembered as spit-fire and feisty woman, who had a heart full of unconditional love. Barb will truly be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Pam (Tom) Kearns, Rhonda Anderson, Johnny Anderson (Chris Follett) and Shawn (Tim) Horan; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and the Hall family and children.
