Barbara A. Schutter's Obituary
Barbara A. Schutter, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. She was born on July 11, 1938 to Clark and Vivian (Fothergill) Beegle in Muskegon, MI. She dedicated 15 years working at the Muskegon County Health Department where she focused on clerical work. On February 18, 1967 she married John “Jack” Schutter in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 25 years of marriage. Jack preceded her in death on November 13, 1992. Barb loved animals and helped many animal rescue organizations. She enjoyed spending time in her yard and gardening. Barb was a kind and compassionate spirit who will truly be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her 2 sons, Lee Schutter and Eric Schutter; sister, Susan McElheny; nephew, Dan (Alise) McElheny; niece, Amy (Frank) Stabile; and dear family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jack Schutter. Memorial Contributions in Barbara’s honor can be made directly to The Muskegon Humane Society & Animal Rescue.
