Barbara Ann VanDyke's Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Ann VanDyke, 60, passed away May 1, 2020 in Muskegon. She was born December 18, 1959 to Lewis and Mary (Williamson) Doan, Jr. in Muskegon, and was a life resident. She graduated from Muskegon High School in 1978 and was a member of the Aristahats Chapter of the Red Hat Society. She married Donald VanDyke on June 25, 1983, and he survives her along with two children, Jamie and Jeffrey, step-son Kevin, mother Mary Doan, siblings Lewis T. Doan, Mary (Larry) Messenger, Carmen Cole, Gary Doan, and Kimberly Perry, sister-in-law Dee (Bob) Walker, and a host of other family members. She was preceded in death by her father Lewis Doan, Jr. In accordance with her wishes, the family will have a picnic this summer to honor and celebrate Barb’s life. Contributions in memory of Mrs. VanDyke may be made to the family to help with final expenses. Arrangements by The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E.
