My memories of Barb are long in history. Every summer she put up with me tagging along with her kids as we made the beach and the woods our own playground. Meg and I would messy up the kitchen making cookies and more than likely it was Barb cleaning up after us. As I grew older I still loved hearing Barb call my name from across the parking lot...."Annie is that you! Oh my, how wonderful it is to see you." Fonder memories are my Dad and I attempting to dance at the Tip a Few while the Weideman Family Band played. Fond, fond, and happy memories!!! Also, I hold dear to my heart that my Dad and Mom greeted your Mom in Heaven and they all are keeping an eye on us as if we were still their little kids. Love to you all!! Annie Applegate O'Brien
So sorry for your loss. I was so stunned to read of your wife and mother's passing. She was so full of life. I did not know her well but she made a lasting impression on me. Her positive attitude and happy nature made her A delight to be around. Sending comforting prayers.

We send our sympathy to the family. We knew Barb from some gatherings for the cottage association in Grand Haven. She was a special , sweet spirit. Our prayers are with you in your time of grief. Blessing, Jim & Barb Peterson. ( Cresent Lodge )
Dear Weideman family,
My heart goes out to you all. Barb was so special to all of you and to so many others. She was my friend and mentor, starting when I first met her in 1984 when she was my manager at Manpower and we remained friends to this day. She was caring, hilarious, talented and a true friend who gave the greatest advice. She told the truth and didn't care if you didn't like it. She let us in to know her family and share in her everyday life. I loved how she said things were "wonderful"! I will always hear her voice, and think of how she would handle things. So many fond memories of our little road trips all over Michigan, our trip to Paris & Ireland, trips to Chicago, birthday outings, the fabulous meals she made. She was a unique woman, never met anyone like her. I truly loved her and damn proud to have been her friend. So glad to have gotten to know all your family and thanks for sharing her. Peace to you all, Love, Kay Fricano

Dearest Weideman Family,
My heart broke when I read about Barb. Truly, I have never known a more loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was kind, generous, full of laughter and mischief--a totally unique and engaging woman.
I am so very sorry for your loss.

To the Musical Weideman Family: I too remember your mother and spouse sharing her time and smile in many of our musical adventures! There is no doubt that the symphony in heaven has welcomed her with open arms! My deepest sympathy to your family,

To the Weideman family . . . I was so very sorry to hear about Barb. My heart is filled with sadness to know that another good soul is gone, but I hope your family is comforted by the knowledge that she was well-loved and led a fabulous life. I was lucky enough to see her at the house a few years ago while Jeffrey was visiting - she made me laugh so I will always remember her for that!
