Barbara Ann (Love) Ellis' Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Ann (Love) Ellis, age 70, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2009 at her home. She was born October 25, 1938 in Shelby, MI to Glen and Minnie (Fisk) Love and lived in the area most of her life. On June 16, 1956, she married Lacy E. Ellis, Jr. in Muskegon and he survives her. She was a member of Oakcrest Church of God since 1956. SURVIVORS include her husband, Lacy E. Ellis, Jr.; 4 children, Steven (Kimberly) Ellis, Annette (Brian) Gordon, Sherrie (David) Ahlstrom, Ricky (Sue) Ellis; 13 grandchildren (of whom 3 are currently serving in the U.S. Navy) and 10 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Mike Fox, Ken Love; 2 sisters, Corky Torrey and Glenna Davis. She was preceded in death by her son, Lee Ellis; her granddaughter, Sonja Ellis and 1 great grandson. GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Twin Lake Cemetery with Bishop Robert D. Rogers officiating. VISITATION will be held at the Ellis Residence, 4230 Holton Road, 10:00am-8:00pm Tuesday. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be directed to the family.
