Barbara E. "Barb" Getz's Obituary
Mrs. Barbara E. "Barb" Getz, age 66, passed away Thursday evening, January 5, 2012 at Mercy Hospital. She was born July 11, 1945 in Muskegon to Ernest and Edna (Bohland) Seastrom, and lived here all her life. Barbara had been a receptionist at the dental office of Dr. Mullaly, and had been manager of the Lakeside Eagles Lodge, of which she was also a member. She is survived by her husband Bernard "Bernie"; stepchildren: B.J. Getz and Steve Getz both of Nunica, Rick Getz of Twin Lake, and Barbara Getz of Muskegon; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Carol Schmidt of California and Joanne Faino of Muskegon. There will be no visitation or services for Mrs. Getz.
