A former classmate just informed me today of Barb's passing. I am glad she had a happy life and a wonderful family. I am at a loss for words except to say how sorry I am for your pain. I was a member of the graduating class of 1965 and remember Barb with fond memories.

I worked with Barb at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, OH years ago. Barb was a wonderful person! She was a caring nurse and friend. I will pray for strength for the family and close friends she left behind. I can remember many shifts of sharing stories about our kids and trying to help guide them to make good choices and to always strive to do their best. She loved them dearly! Greg and I were shocked to read the paper today. Just last month I was going through all of my old scrapbooks trying to weed out pictures. Those were our early to mid twenty years. Looking at that picture of Barb looking out at the sea with her hair blowing, it was like very little time had passed at all. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. The Peterson and Frazer family lived nearby in Superior during their growing up years. My son Jon is still friends with Barb's brother Tim.
Barb was a wonderful and fun loving young woman who gave care and support to all who were priviledged to know her.

I met Barb when I worked with her at Fort Hamilton Hospital. We have been "pen pals" since she moved. I got to see Barb and Jim last when they came to Ohio for my son's wedding 4 years ago..
