Barbara Jean Thompson's Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Jean Thompson, age 56, passed away at home suddenly on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. She was born October 14, 1954 in Muskegon to Bernard and Cornelia (Voogd) Wendt. She married Thomas A. Thompson in Muskegon on May 28, 1988. He survives her along with 3 children, David (April Rosema) Nichols and Renee (Paul) Kurdziel both of Muskegon and Amber (Jordan Ortiz) Thompson of Twin Lake; 1 brother, Richard (Audrey) Wendt of Whitehall; 2 sisters, Deborah (Robert) Groeneveld of Muskegon and Julia ( Darrel) Kirkland of Gainsville, FL; also 9 grandchildren. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
