Barbara M. McClain's Obituary
Mrs. Barbara M. McClain, age 94, passed away Tuesday morning, March 15, 2005. She was born March 14, 1911 in Goteborg, Sweden to Charles and Alma (Jansen) Anderson, and had lived in the Muskegon area since she was three years old. Mrs. McClain was a member of Christian Life Center. On March 29, 1929, she married Willis M. McClain in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on October 12, 1979. SURVIVORS include 13 children, Sonny (Shirley) McClain, Chrystal (Gene) Wilson, Audrey (Sidney) Henderson, Rev. Curtiss (Marilyn) McClain, Victor (Rebecca) McClain, Sherril (Thomas G.) French, Lorren (Tamara) McClain, Rev. Philip (Michelle) McClain, Ester (Rev. Michael) McCormick, Bryan (Rose) McClain, Brent (Ruth) McClain, Bruce (Jackie) McClain, Weldon (MaryAnne) McClain; 48 grandchildren, 98 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Gloria (Herbert) Wilson, Ann (Ray) Heaton both of Houston, TX; and special friends, Dorothy Kempf and Bea Chumney. She was also preceded in death by her son, Mark; 2 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday at Central Assembly of God with Rev. Curtiss McClain officiating. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday at
